Job Purpose:

To build customer relationships as the vehicle sales paperwork is prepared, finances discussed, and products are presented and sold to complete the deal.

Primary Job Function:

The F&I Manager reviews and confirms the agreed-upon sales figures, prepares sales people to confer with customers about needed services or products, consults with customers to determine their wants and needs and presents products accordingly, obtains credit approval, and prepares delivery documentation. Throughout the process, the Finance Manager practices strict legal compliance and ethical behavior.

Essential Duties:

  • Interact with the customer. Establish a rapport. Review the customer’s credit application and credit report. Discuss the available finance options. Finalize the financial arrangements.
  • Prepare the delivery documentation, including the preparation of the loan documents, DMV paperwork and other legal forms required by state and federal regulations.
  • Obtain approval from finance sources.
  • Present available product options to the customer: vehicle service agreement, anti-theft protection and guaranteed auto protection.

  • Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep up to date on the technological changes
  • Complete all factory tests and become certified sales consultant
  • Know and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto sales
  • Carry out sales, customer service and job performance as indicated in the Sales Performance Checklist

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally and technically able to safely operate company and customer-owned vehicles. SEATS BELTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN 100% OF THE TIME WHILE OPERATING ANY COMPANY OR CUSTOMER-OWNED VEHICLES
  • Must be able to be insured by the company insurance policy
  • Must follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, and information
  • Able to demonstrate excellent communications skills
  • Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards
  • Ability to work in all kinds of weather conditions
  • Certification as Ford Sales professional and passing grades on all in house tests

Service Writer/Advisor (up to $100k+ per year opportunity - Salary + Commission) - prior Ford experience preferred and would be a plus. Excellent opportunity to join a growing dealership. Due to expected growth, we are looking to add a new Service Writer/Advisor to our Service Team at Twin Pine Ford.

Responsibilites Expected:

  • Handle customers promptly and correctly
  • Keep work area neat and clean
  • Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner 100% of the time and never differentiate between customer pay and warranty service
  • Listen to and help interpret customers’ statements accurately
  • Learn and retain customers names
  • Secure agreement from customer before repairs begin and provide the estimate of cost and approximate time when car will be completed while securing method of payment
  • Point out additional needed service work while using prescribed service aids in a manner that will increase customer satisfaction and service sales
  • Maintain necessary product knowledge maintain current knowledge of mechanical operation of entire product line have access to and read 100% of technical bulletins issued by Ford and regularly attend appropriate seminars and training sessions

Skills

  • Knowledge of mechanical aspects of vehicles
  • Ability to communicate with the customer and know the service situation
  • Ability to communicate the service situation with the technician
  • Ability to handle stress, interruptions, and multiple tasks
  • Prior Ford Experience preferred and would be a plus
